7 things to pack in your nappy bag

So you’ve spent a lot of time researching the best nappy bag to buy and have settled on your choice! But WTH do you even pack in your nappy bag?! We’ve got you covered! Here are 7 things to pack as a new Mum.

1.Nappies, DUH

As the name suggestions, your nappy bag will obviously need to house some nappies. We recommend taking 3-4 on an outing. Don't underestimate the power of newborn to poop.

2. Disposable nappy bags

Nappies smell, and there's not always a bin to dispose of them easily. If you're on the go and can't get rid of your nappy, having scented disposable nappy bags is a lifesaver. Just remember to get them out of your bag when home!

3. Wipes

Wipes will become your new best friend. Used to wipe bums, hands, seats, prams and other random objects. Also prepare yourself for all of your non-baby friends and family members to mooch off you for wipes now.

4. Travel nappy mat

You'll want to pack a travel mat with you so you can change your baby on the go easily and hygienically. Once used, pop it through the wash before re-packing for your next trip.

5. Breast pads

It's usually the time you leave the house without breast pads that you leak everywhere, and 9 times out of 10 you'll be wearing a light coloured t-shirt. Do your future self a favour and pack a pair of breast pads for that just-incase moment.

6. Change of clothes

Bodily fluids can and will escape. Whether it's a milk chuck-up or a full-on nappy blow out. Pack yourself that spare outfit because you WILL use it eventually.

7. A spare dummy

Dummies aren't for everyone, we get that! But, if you are using a dummy with your little one pack yourself a spare. Babies have a funny way of losing everything.

As your baby gets older you may want to consider packing
