What is isofix?

What Is Isofix?

ISOFIX is a quick, safe way of installing car seats. Instead of the traditional method of using the car’s seat belt to secure the car seat, it utilises 2 special low anchor points (as well as the top anchor point for the top tether strap which is used in ISOFIX and traditional seat-belt installations).

Please Note:

- Not all cars have ISOFIX anchor points

- Not all child seats have ISOFIX connections

- No Booster seats in Australia have ISOFIX connections

What if my car doesn’t have ISOFIX anchor points, but the seat I purchased has ISOFIX connectors?

You don’t have to use the ISOFIX connectors to install the seat. Each of our ISOFIX compatible car seats can be installed in the traditional method with the car’s seat belt if the vehicle does not have ISOFIX anchor points.

How can I tell if my vehicle is ISOFIX compatible?

If your vehicle has ISOFIX anchor points, it will usually have an indicator on the back seat that looks something like this:
